Experiment: Seasons

Seasons loops through every month of the year repeatedly, starting with January, ending with December, and then starting from January again. Each season corresponds to a set of months. June through August is summer, September through November is fall, December through February is winter, and March through May is spring. For each season, an action is performed, characteristic of how one might feel physically or what one might do during that season.
Language can become data when it is used to identify data about a person. There is an immense amount of data online reveals information about who someone is as a person or other personal information. Data makes it possible for us to create algorithms that can analyze data at a large scale. This allows computers to help us choose optimal solutions, automate tasks, or with management. Although data may allow us to search for the shortest path to our destination on Google maps, having our personal data in the digital world also puts our financial and legal identities at risk. Knowing someone’s personal data and financial information allows purchases under their name and bank account.
As for creative and ethical use of textual data online, we could, like Jonathan Harris, utilize the data to draw out people’s stories and tell them.
